The elder's who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor,
especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.  1 Timothy 5:17

The Abode of the Wicked

Message from Pastor Dan

Do you know who the wicked are? They are you and me if we do not know God, if we deny Him and His Son Jesus Christ.

Eternal damnation is not a pleasant subject, but it is better that we hear about eternal damnation, than spend eternity being damned.

Christian, hell is not for you, but you must realize what God has saved you from; and to realize the lost need this message so they can escape the torments of hell.

The only road that leads to the abode of the righteous is the road of salvation, and salvation can only be found in Jesus Christ."Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12 It is not found in good works, going to church, giving money & time freely. Although these are good things of themselves, it is only through our relationship with Jesus Christ that we can escape the abode of the wicked.

Psalm 9:17 "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."
The abode of the wicked is a place of torment, filthiness, a bottomless pit, and a place where a person can not repent of their sins. It is a place of everlasting punishment.

It is certainly a place where none of us wants to go, nor is it a place we want our loved ones to go. Proverbs 14:32 says "The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death."

We don't know when we shall leave this life and enter into that life which we have sealed eternity for ourselves. The Bible says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, , not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

"But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be." This scripture specifically speaks of Christ's second coming, but its truth is for all of us. Life will go on as usual the day we die. Sin will be rampent upon the earth. People will be going about their daily tasks. They will be eating and drinking, and marrying. Some will be going to work, others returning. Many will be watching television or going to a movie. Life for most will be as usual, but death will come for each of us. We can not escape it, no matter how much we try.

What must we do to escape eternal damnation? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Acts
